Pastry Chef Andrea McLean is a proud Las Vegas native. After graduating with a culinary arts degree from the College of Southern Nevada, she went on to work at acclaimed restaurants such as Bouchon and Joel Robuchon.
During the 2020 pandemic, Andrea decided to start her own pie business called PopNpies as a way to stay in touch with her baking skills, earn some extra income, and provide comfort to those who were unable to cook or bake themselves.
Despite the challenges of launching a new business during a pandemic, Andrea's delicious pies quickly gained a loyal following. She even had the opportunity to showcase her creations at Vegas Test Kitchen, which helped her grow her business even further.
With the success of PopNpies, Chef Andrea chose to focus on her growing business and did not return to her previous restaurant job. Her passion for baking and dedication to providing delicious, comforting pies to her community continue to drive the success of PopNpies.
